Cao Bang Loop Tour 3 days 2 nights

Day 1: Hanoi – Ban Gioc Waterfall – Nguom Ngao Cave – Homestay (L/D)

06:00 – 06:30 Bus pick up at your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter and depart for Ban Gioc Waterfall – one of the few waterfalls in the world located between two countries (Vietnam and China), and among the most beautiful natural waterfalls in Asia.

12:30 – 13:00 Arrive in Cao Bang City, meet your local guide and and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch – Continue the journey to the stunning Ban Gioc Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world.

• Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and a boat trip on the Quay Son River.
• Capture amazing photos of the falls and surrounding landscape.

Next, visit Nguom Ngao Cave (“Sound of Tiger” Cave) — a magnificent limestone cave famous for its impressive stalactites and stalagmites.

17:00 Check in to your homestay, relax and freshen up.

19:00 Enjoy a traditional dinner and overnight at the homestay in Khuoi Ky Stone Village.

Day 2: Nung An Village – Angel Eye Mountain – Camping (B/L/D)

07:00 Breakfast and farewell to your hosts.

08:00 Depart for Nung An Paper-making Village, where you can learn about the traditional craft of handmade paper production passed down through generations.

Continue the journey to Angel Eye Mountain (Thung Mountain, Quang Uyen District), known for its striking circular hole through the middle of the limestone peak — one of Cao Bang’s most unique natural formations.

12:00 Lunch at a local restaurant.

15:00 Check in to your campsite or homestay.

Enjoy local specialties, visit nearby Tay and Nung ethnic villages, and take part in a campfire, folk singing, and boating on the lake. You can also join outdoor activities such as playing traditional games or tennis.

Dinner and overnight at the homestay or campsite.

Day 3: Pac Po Cave – Cao Bang – Hanoi (B/L)

07:30 Breakfast at local restaurant.

08:00 Depart to visit Pac Bo Cave, located in the northeastern most area of Cao Bang Province near the Chinese border. This historic site marks the place where President Ho Chi Minh returned to Vietnam after 30 years abroad to lead the revolutionary movement for independence.

Even if you are not a history enthusiast, Pac Bo offers a peaceful natural setting surrounded by emerald streams and limestone mountains.

10:00 Visit Lenin Stream and Pac Bo Cave, where you can learn more about the history and enjoy the tranquil landscape.

12:00 Lunch at a local restaurant in Pac Bo.

After lunch, return to Cao Bang City, then take the bus back to Hanoi.

20:30 Tour ends at your hotel in Hanoi.
