Cao Bang – Ban Gioc Waterfall Day Tour

07:30 – 08:00 Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Cao Bang City. The journey begins with a scenic drive along the eastern route of Cao Bang, where you’ll be immersed in the beauty of green mountains, crystal-clear rivers, majestic waterfalls, and traditional craft villages.

09:00 Stop to check in at the foot of Ma Phuc Pass, one of the most picturesque mountain passes in the region.

10:00 Visit Ban Gioc Waterfall – the most famous waterfall in Vietnam and recently recognized as one of the seven most majestic waterfalls in the world.
Ban Gioc is formed from the Quay Son River, which flows along the Vietnam–China border. The waterfall is divided into two parts: the left and western half of the right waterfall belong to Vietnam’s territory in Dam Thuy Commune, Trung Khanh District, while the eastern half of the right waterfall lies within China. This breathtaking natural wonder is a must-see when traveling to Cao Bang.

12:00 Lunch and rest at Khuoi Ky Stone Village.
Located within the Ban Gioc Waterfall tourism complex, Khuoi Ky Village features 14 traditional stone stilt houses covering more than 10,000 m². The village nestles against the mountain and faces the peaceful Khuoi Ky stream, reflecting the harmony between nature and local Tay culture.

14:00 Explore Nguom Ngao Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Northern Vietnam.
In the Tay language, “Nguom” means cave and “Ngao” means tiger, so the name translates to Tiger Cave. The cave is steeped in local legend and features stunning stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years.

15:30 Drive back to Cao Bang City.

17:30 Tour ends at your hotel in Cao Bang.
